Natalie Peters & Laure Federiconi at Chiasso Means Noise
In March 2025, Laure Federiconi and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet during a two-day residency and to make music together. This was made possible by the project Röstibrücke and the co-curatorship of Vasco Viviani and Daniel Maszkowicz.
From the very beginning, there was a strong artistic connection between us. Both the preparation and the time we spent together were inspiring, intense, and joyful. We finally presented our duo at the festival Chiasso Means Noise in Chiasso, Ticino — one of the most exciting festivals in the region. And for those who do not speak Italian: Chiasso literally means “noise,” in the best and truest sense of the word.
This experience led not only to fruitful artistic exchange but also to a beautiful friendship with Laure. At the turn of the year, the recording of our concert was released — uncut and completely authentic. It is well worth listening to. It was a special evening.
Many thanks to Vasco, Daniel, Gorana Miliz, and Chiasso Means Noise for making this possible. 🙏🎶
